Barbizon of Akron also offers an extensive acting program for those who want to learn the basics of acting and pursue television and film. We have been established since 1939, and now have over 260 Barbizon Agencies worldwide!

TEACHING STAFF
Our teaching staff is professionally trained, and they are continually updated to meet international standards of excellence. They are educated in how to educate. They have a working knowledge of the industry and share their expertise in the development of our students.

FREE AGENCY REGISTRATION
This service is available to all Barbizon of Akron graduates. Our Agency is a full service agency to its clients and includes bookings for TV commercials, printwork (fashion & commercial), runway, catalogue, and thousands of hours of promotional work. Our agency as a 93.5% placement rate. Each graduate may return to any or all classes at no additional charge, and with full transfer privileges at any of the worldwide Barbizon locations for the course the graduate was enrolled in.

INTERNATIONAL MODEL & TALENT ASSOCIATION MEMBERS
The largest international Conventions for the modeling, talent and entertainment industries are hosted by IMTA (the International Modeling & Talent Association). As members in good standing, we are proud to announce that each year, we have more and more of our local talent traveling to Los Angeles, New York, Europe and the Asian countries to pursue their dreams. Our Agency membership in IMTA has afforded local talent worldwide opportunities that they would never have otherwise.
