Haley Bennett-Keeling, 21, and native to Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, is pleased to announce that she will be starring in yet another nationally released feature film. Haley first got a bite from the acting bug in 2001 when she enrolled into Barbizon of Akron’s (www.barbizonakron.com) modeling and intensive acting classes. Following her Barbizon experience, Haley attended the prestigious International Model & Talent Association Convention (www.imta.com) with Pro-Model & Talent Management (www.pmtm.com). IMTA was a tremendous experience for Haley and convinced her that the acting industry was for her! A few years later, Haley decided to make the big move to L.A., where she has ultimately taken Hollywood by storm, and has been lauded by many critics as someone to watch for! Haley’s first feature film, “Music and Lyrics” starring Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore debuted in 2007. Haley’s fun role as pop idol “Cora Corman” was a terrific way to start her acting career and the prestigious cast provided her a terrific learning experience and taught her to “feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera.” This wonderful break out role was also a stellar opportunity for Haley to showcase her fantastic vocal skills. This year Haley can be seen in several new roles. As the summer of 2008 began to wind down Haley’s first movie of the year, titled “College” premiered in theaters. This fun flick that was produced by the whacky production crew at MTV stars many famous names like: Drake Bell from Josh and Drake and American Idol contestant Kevin Covais. Haley’s good girl character “Kendall” was in stark contrast to all the wild partiers in the movie and made her memorable throughout the teen-targeted movie.
As fall rolled around, Haley’s second movie of 2008 debuted: “The Haunting of Molly Hartley” where Haley gets horrified as the title character Molly. This scary thriller, that co-stars Gossip Girl hottie Chace Crawford, was quite a change of pace for Haley who typically plays in upbeat flicks, but was a terrific way for her to exercise her vast talent in a different direction. Haley’s third film of the year will hit theaters this December just in time for the holiday season! “Marley and Me,” based upon the novel by John Grogan, stars the super popular and talented actors Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson and has Haley playing the loveable character “Lisa.” The heartfelt story line centers around the shenanigans of a cuddly Labrador named “Marley” (who incidentally gets his name from the famed singer Bob Marley) is one that will make everyone feel good!
Make sure to keep up with this former Pro-Model & Talent alum that is currently in production with a couple of additional movies that are set to launch in 2009. Right now, in fact, this talented lassie is temporarily living and working in Argentina, while on set for a film called “Three Graces”. After her stint in South America, she willthen head back up north to Vancouver to begin filming “The Hole” which ultimately premiers in the year 2010! And while the music and movie thing sure gets us going we haven’t even mentioned the numerous magazines that she’s been featured in like: Teen Vogue, Seventeen Magazine, Allure, and Ocean Drive just to name a few! It may seem like our national and international talent have all the fun around here, but that's simply not true!
Pro-Model and Talent Managament (www.pmtm.com) models/talent and Barbizon of Akron (www.barbizonakron.com) graduates get to participate in some pretty sweet gigs around the local tri-state area as well. Take Gary Pezzuolo, Adam Henderickson, and Myke Burns for instance, who have had several shoots with the popular sportswear super store Dicks Sporting Goods. (www.dickssportinggoods.com). The fine physique these gentlemen work so hard to keep earned them an ongoing print assignment for this athletic gear store and a spot on some of the in-store signage and on Dick's billboards! You can see Gary looking great in Under Armour clothing, while Adam participated in a shoot where he played super crazy football fan, donning one of the jerseys Dick's Sporting Goods offers and showing off the Tailgate Gear that can be purchased in the stores worldwide. Incidentally, you can see Adam on Dick's Sporting Goods front door at the Fairlawn, Ohio store NOW - stop by to check it out!
